Educational and career journey

My professional journey has been built step by step through commitment, continuous learning, and a strong belief that business operations are not only about managing daily activities but about creating structure, performance, reliability, and long-term value for customers, teams, and organizations.

I started my career with a deep interest in operations, service quality, business development, technology, and organizational improvement. Over the years, I had the opportunity to work across different countries, including Sudan, the Sultanate of Oman, and currently the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This international exposure gave me a wider understanding of different business environments, cultures, customer expectations, and market challenges.

My career experience has also covered several sectors, including the banking sector, IT companies, marketing agencies, export and import companies, and logistics operations. Working across these different industries helped me build a broad business mindset. It taught me how finance, technology, marketing, supply chain, customer service, and operations are connected, and how strong leadership is required to align people, systems, and strategy.

Throughout this journey, I worked closely with teams, clients, technology partners, drivers, suppliers, and business stakeholders. The environment was always challenging: tight deadlines, customer expectations, cost pressure, operational risks, and the need to make fast and accurate decisions every day. These challenges shaped my leadership style and taught me that success requires discipline, data, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Today, I serve as Head of Business Operations at RunX Logistics in Saudi Arabia, where I contribute to leading and improving business operations across logistics, service performance, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, quality, technology adoption, and strategic execution. My role connects daily operations with wider business goals, ensuring that teams, systems, resources, and performance indicators are aligned to support sustainable growth.

PAIU's contribution to my personal or professional development.

One of the most meaningful parts of my journey has been balancing professional responsibilities with academic development. Studying in the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme at Paris American International University gave me the opportunity to connect my practical business experience with academic research, strategic thinking, and leadership development. It helped me look at daily operational challenges from a wider perspective and strengthened my ability to analyze business problems, structure solutions, and make decisions based on evidence rather than assumptions.

My studies in the DBA programme at PAIU contributed significantly to my personal and professional growth. The programme helped me develop stronger research skills, improve my strategic decision-making, and deepen my understanding of how innovation, leadership, and technology can support business performance. This has been especially valuable in my current role, where business operations must continuously adapt to market competition, customer expectations, digital transformation, cost efficiency, and organizational growth.

I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to the Student Academic Affairs team for their continuous support throughout this journey. Their guidance, assistance, and encouragement have been valuable in helping me progress academically and professionally. I am also grateful for this opportunity to share my story with others through the PAIU Community Spotlight.
My story is not about one single achievement. It is about persistence, learning, and growth across countries, industries, and challenges. It is about continuing to move forward despite pressure, responsibility, and change. PAIU has been an important part of this journey, giving me the academic foundation and confidence to keep developing as a professional and as a leader.

I hope my story can inspire current and future students to believe that education is not separate from real life. Education becomes powerful when we apply it to solve real problems, support our teams, improve our organizations, and create opportunities for the future.
